Name Cards allow you to choose how you want to represent yourself within the game , and there are some that are specific to certain LGBTQ+ heroes. You’ll find there’s a lesbian card for Tracer, a gay card for Soldier: 76, Pansexual for Lifeweaver, as well as Baptiste’s bisexual card and Pharah’s lesbian card, over the years players have speculated about Baptiste and Pharah’s sexual orientation and us. Glad to not just include them in this festive cosmetic. but also releases a new series of short stories that focus on their stories as well.
Being proud to show everyone who they are is a beautiful thing. And we want it to feel like it’s not just a celebration for our players. It’s also a memorable event within the Overwatch universe, in honor of how this event means so much to so many people – and in honor of the Stonewall Riots that inspired its creation. THIS ANNUAL EVENT–For the entire month of June, you’ll be playing in the updated Midtown map, which takes place shortly after the LGBT Parade and Watchpoint: Gibraltar.
